Christa Carlson
I have been teaching yoga for 10 years, and love everything about it!
I love being able to share the knowledge I have gained throughout my teaching career. I also LOVE to connect with the student on a level that lets them know I care about them and their lives.
My main teaching philosophy is twofold:
First and foremost - LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!! No matter what class I am teaching, if something I cue does not feel right in your body, let me know and we will modify. Do not stay in any shape that you experience PAIN. :
Second - Find Your Breath! As a culture, we are so busy in our minds that we totally forget about our breath (and our body). Our breath helps to ground us when we feel out of control, it keeps us in the Present Moment.
The two classes I teach:
Vin/Yin Yoga - a beautiful practice where you find the "best of both worlds" which includes taking care of yourself by using intensity and movement (Vinyasa) and finding your "sweet spot" as you strive for stillness (Yin). This is an all-levels class that can be modified in many ways! If something doesn't work for you, please let me know and we will find a better solution for your body.
Saturday Vinyasa Flow - a beautiful practice that connects your breath with movement and your body with the earth as you flow from posture to posture in this all-levels class. Challenging yourself to listen to your body - taking the poses to your edge or backing off a bit depending on what your body is telling you in each moment. Moving through your flow one breath at a time...
Monday Vin/Yin class
6:30 - 7:45
Pricing:
Drop-in class - $17.00
5 Class Card - $75.00 ($15.00 a class)

Usha Lakshmi
Usha has been a yoga practitioner all her life and has taught yoga, breath-work, and meditation practices in the Philadelphia area since 2010. Currently, she is a faculty member at West Chester University teaching both their beginner and advanced level yoga programs. Usha has learned that sharing her studies with others takes her personal experience to a whole new level. Don’t they say that when you give, it gets returned back to you threefold? So true as she learns from each one of her students every single day. Thus, with practicing and teaching she comes full circle. .Usha is one of the rotating instructors for Saturday morning Vinyasa Flow. To register and to view her other offerings see the link below. You can also contact her via yogabhyasa.kalari@gmail.com or call via phone @ 484 – 686 8346

Sarah Windfelder
I began enjoying the practice of yoga in college and have developed a dedicated yoga practice that has helped me manage difficulties throughout my own life as well as within my work as a psychologist. Through my practice I began to experience the benefits of yoga including connecting with the breath and stilling the mind. In my work within the mental health field, I was inspired by mindfulness and gratitude which I incorporate into my yoga practice. In addition to asana postures, I am drawn to ancient yoga philosophy including the Yamas and Niyamas as well as pranayama/breathwork. I utilize the transformative experience of pranayama in practice to better help us regulate our nervous systems. I enjoy helping others incorporate these principles into the fabric of their lives so that we can move closer towards wholeness and a deeper connection with ourselves. I teach a monthly saturday 9:15am vinyasa flow at Fulcom Place, please see the schedule of classes. Email me to register at yoga@drsarahwindfelder.com.
